SkyVault was founded in 2017 on a simple conviction: the things people keep — a cellar in progress, a car without a garage, a family's records, a piece of art between homes — deserve to be treated the way a gallery treats what it holds, not the way a warehouse treats a pallet.
That conviction came from experience. After nearly two decades managing commercial warehouse operations, David Mercer had seen exactly how — and how carelessly — most facilities move and hold what isn't theirs. SkyVault is the deliberate opposite: climate held to tolerance, access earned biometrically, every unit watched on its own, and a concierge desk for the moments you'd rather someone handle it for you. The ambition is to be the Southwest's most trusted premium storage — a private vault, not a unit.
